Concerns

We believe that children and parents are entitled to expect courtesy and prompt, careful attention to their needs and wishes. We welcome suggestions on how to improve our setting and will give prompt and serious attention to any concerns about the running of the setting.

We hope that you will feel able to discuss any concerns or issues with us directly. In the first instance you should speak to your child’s Key Person or Room Leader. They will make sure that they understand what your concerns are and give you an explanation that hopefully will clear the matter up. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction you should speak to the Nursery Manager/Proprietor Claire Potter. If you prefer to talk privately or not in front of your child an appointment can be made with Claire for a mutually convenient time.

It is a requirement by Ofsted that all concerns are logged along with the outcome and any action taken. These records must be available to show an Ofsted Childcare Inspector if required.
If you feel that you are unable to discuss the matter with us or that after following our concerns procedure the matter remains unresolved, then you can talk in confidence to:
